Washington Junior High opened its doors in 1977, and we now serve 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.

Washington provides opportunities for students to succeed in many different ways by offering not only traditional classes like Science, Math, Language Arts, Social Sciences, and Physical Education, it provides elective opportunities in the area of Applied Arts & Sciences, World Languages, and Performance Music. There are also classrooms that support students who struggle along with students who excel.

The District 203 Board of Education has established an athletic participation fee of $50.00 per sport for students participating in each of the following interscholastic sports at the junior high level:
